Policies
1. Health

Good health and physical fitness are essential for trekking in the Himalayas. We strongly recommend that all trekkers undergo a medical examination before joining any trekking program.

If you have any medical conditions or require special assistance, please inform us at the time of booking so we can make suitable arrangements whenever possible.

2. Travel Insurance

All trekkers booking with Mustang Trekking must have comprehensive travel insurance that includes:

Trip cancellation and interruption
Medical treatment and hospitalization
Emergency helicopter evacuation
High-altitude trekking coverage
Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings

Emergency rescue costs must be paid in Nepal unless your insurance provider guarantees direct payment. Your insurance policy must specifically cover trekking at high altitudes.

3. Booking Deposit

To confirm your booking, we require:

20% of the total trip cost at the time of booking.
An additional 15% payment at least 15 days before departure.
4. Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu before the trek begins.

Failure to complete payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.

5. Last-Minute Bookings

Bookings made within 5 days of the trip departure are accepted subject to availability.

A 50% advance payment of the total trip cost is required to confirm last-minute bookings.

6. Cancellation Policy

Once a booking has been confirmed, changes requested by the client may not always be possible.

Mustang Trekking reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any itinerary due to weather conditions, natural disasters, government regulations, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.
