Step into the mystical Last Forbidden Kingdom of Nepal, where ancient Tibetan culture, dramatic desert landscapes, and centuries-old monasteries create one of the world's most extraordinary trekking experiences. The Upper Mustang Trek takes you through a remote trans-Himalayan region that remained closed to foreigners until 1992, preserving its unique heritage and traditions.

Following the ancient salt trading route, you'll journey across colorful cliffs, deep canyons, windswept valleys, and traditional villages before reaching the magnificent walled city of Lo Manthang. Along the way, you'll witness ancient cave monasteries, prayer flags fluttering beneath endless blue skies, and breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Unlike many Himalayan treks, Upper Mustang lies in the rain shadow of the Himalayas, making it one of Nepal's best trekking destinations even during the monsoon season.
